Deakin University Postdoctoral Research Fellowships

The Deakin University Postdoctoral Research Fellowships (DUPRF) support and develop early career researchers identified as potential rising stars, aiming to enhance the capacity and capability in key research areas and build the next generation of high achieving and internationally competitive researchers. REDI researchers who have been awarded this fellowship are Associate Professor Luci Pangrazio, Dr Rino Adhikary, Dr Eve Mayes, Dr Saeed Salimpour, Dr Marcus Horwood and Dr Xing Xu.

Do I have to know who my supervisor is before I apply?

Yes, the online application form requires you to identify your preferred supervisor and you should also work with this person to prepare your research project proposal, which is required as part of the application process.

How do I find a supervisor?

We have more than 30 research degree supervisors to choose from at REDI. If you are interested in a project that aligns with one of REDI’s research priority areas you can find the right supervisor for you via our search.

Can I contact a potential supervisor directly?

Yes, once you have found one or more supervisor who matches your research interests you can contact them directly to discuss your research proposal.
